Well first post here and really haven't been stalking to long. Stumbled upon the site trying to find a source for a two man sneak box plan. Looking forward to hopefully building one in the spring. Still looking for plans I want. Also have made some terrible looking foam decoys and some not so terrible looking foam decoys. Don't hunt over them enough , but do hunt a whole boat of molded jack ring magnums. Anyway sorry so long winded and tanks for having me

Welcome, Tony~

I built a 2-man Sneakbox (planing hull) in the mod-80s. No drawings or plans but a few old photos.

I cut down an old Herter's Cartopper and widened it. It was ~13' LOA with a 5' beam.

This is the first Spray Dodger I ever made.

We sat (or lay down if needed) side-by-side and shot over the stern. The thatched Lap Cover hid our lower bodies - and kept us warmer and drier.

Good luck in your hunt for The Perfect Duckboat!

welcome to the site, Great wealth of knowledge and great group of guys here. Best of luck on your spring build and don't forget to post pictures along the way!

Tony, if you have a Redhead drake by Jack, I would love to add to the hen I have in my rig. I corresponded with Sylvia a couple years ago trying to get someof his decoys.

I'll see what I can do Dave. They're all a hunting partners decoys. We're local to Jack and another friend/associate has the mold. So my partner made 6-7 dozen. I could ask if I could get one. Also not sure who's heads they are.

Steve, how rough of water would you take that boat in? I've also considered just starting to draw up a hull shape and maybe do a half size test . I was thinking 13-14 feet and the 4-5 foot beam would probably be a good place to start.

Thanks for the welcome everyone

Tony
