Eddie,

Here are a couple pics I had on hand. I'll take a few more better ones for you tomorrow.

I added the angle iron cross bar at the front of the bunks. That way, the bunks are attached to the trailer frame at three points, so I could bow the bunks to match the curve of the hull on my Huff.

Eddie,

Here is how I have my sneakbox. The trailer came with two long bunks, but I took them off. I used 2x4s and carpeted them, then used brackets so that they can pivot towards the rear of the trailer. This allows them to pivot with the boat as it comes up. You can also see the 'jon boat' support that you can get at bass pro shops that I use on the front that the ice runners sit on.

Thanks for those exstra pictures, they are spot on and that is what I was looking for, being able to see a close up of the bunk fittings and how they are angled on the hull of the boat. I managed to get a steel on a dingy trailer so my mate and I are converting it to a boat trailer and its starting to take shape now. I hope to be starting my boat with in the next couple of months and everything will be genuin B.S. 1088 marine ply, now my workshop is finished its going to be a pleasure to build it, the trouble is there wont be enough hours in a day what with training Amber, Boat building and carving myself a new rig of decoys but Im looking forward to it.
