I took these shots yesterday morning [10/13] . The weather has been extremely mild. The migration has not really started yet, still we managed to fill our limits with local birds. The guys in the groupshot are Syd Thysen and Mike Thomas of "Fast Duck Motors" John Van Houten and his Boykin "Bruno" and myself. Capt Doug Heaton and his Master Hunter lab "Kahleigh" are in the single shot and took the picture of the rest of us guys. It was a bit chilly when we set up, but T shirt weather by mid afternoon. All in all a perfect day. Hated to leave, flew home this morning, back to reality, and work! By the way saturday was an extremely windy and gray morning. I launched my boat at Goose Lake and was swarmed by the most Blue Winged Teal I have ever seen. I was picking up within a half hour of starting time and heading to my favorite restaurant for breakfast. Rich

Nice work Fellas. I have great memories of being a Kid driving the Family-Vehicle from place to place trying to kill Doves, and Huns with my BB Gun while my Pops was helping our Friends harvest their Wheat. Wish I was snoozing in the layout Blind this week interrupted by a shotgun blast every so often. Nice pics...

You should have stayed another week. The weather has changed. Still plenty of BW teal around. Low 40's with 20 mph winds and rain all day today.

What great shots of ND. Looks like someone did their homework. Congratulations on those nice hunts that you had.

Can anybody tell me why my post is so spread out? Or maybe can one of the moderators reconfigure it for me? Thanks, Rich

remove the first part that is in brackets that says URL all the way to html....it's a photobucket setting that you need to fix on your photobucket account. It happened on some accounts but not on others. I don't recall what you have to do to get the fix......but it is a setting in your photobucket account

And it looks like you had a great time. Did you get out much for upland?
