She is affectionately called, Casa, but her real name is Cascabella. Bev found that name which means Hot Yellow Pepper. Since her mom's name is Pepper and she is yellow, I guess she must be "hot", too.

Tom, thanks for that reply. When we retired Pepper from our kennel just last week and watched the older couple drive away with her, I have to admit that tears were shed. It was difficult but then I also realized that she will be much better off where she is now. It is hard to watch dogs/pups go.

Never fear, Paul, we are planning on taking Chaco to the lake pretty soon now that all 17 pups have been placed into their new homes. I'll see what I can do. I got a kick out of the "cool down". Around here, she will love that on a daily basis.
