For sale is a complete BBSB hunting rig.
The original owner bought the boat as a kit from Don Warren in 1998. It is unique as he added a "Dogpit" in the bow just forward of the cockpit.
The boat has the typical scrapes, bruises, and scratches from 20 years of honest use. It is fully grassed (including the canvas cockpit cover), has a back board, and is ready to hunt.
In full disclosure, the cockpit sole is getting soft -- a straightforward replacement -- but is serviceable for the upcoming season.
The motor is a 1999 two-stroke Mercury 8-horsepower outboard. The motor is in excellent condition, reliable, and incredibly quiet. Included is the desirable, low-profile OMC plastic fuel tank. A tiller extension and oars are also included.
The rig rests on a 1998 Yacht Club galvanized bunk trailer. The trailer is in good condition.
I've owned the boat since 2008. Over the years I've done the following: (1) rebuilt the transom using West System epoxy for fillets, tabbing, and 'glass overlay, (2) painted the topsides with FME Open Water Green, (3) attached raffia and fast grass using garden fencing and appropriately spaced pad eyes, and (4) replaced the trailer bearings.
$1,000 or best reasonable offer.
