I saw that elsewhere and thought it might cut a little close to the bone for some folks. I wonder how long it will be until one or more of those companies files a complaint?
 
Rings some truth and outlines what it really takes to be a pro staffer for some companies. Reminds me of bass fishing back in NC....

Tim, I agree that is one of the best lines...

I have never understood why I should pay for a decal to advertise for any company. I guess that makes me a poor candidate to become a pro staff. LOL

(I'll be needing some Pro Staffers for the paper mache corn decoys soon, so you guys get in line and have your credentials ready for review. I wouldn't want just ANYBODY messin' with the corn)

Hopefully people will take this as tongue in cheek. It has gotten to be a bit silly out there. I actually get plenty of requests for guys wanting to be ProStaff members but I am extremely picky. I wouldn't want my name associated with the wrong things such as naked lady mudflaps, political bumper stickers, etc. My guys do a great job of being good sportsman and good people. I appreciate any and all business that their advertising brings my way and, in turn, I do my best to send people to their guide services. I have pulled the plug on one but it was best for both of us and......... business is business. I would love to know how everybody can afford to hand out all of those hoodies. I'm lucky if I can hand out handkerchiefs with the company initials on it. I also have failed in the "cool product name" category since I don't sell "meat sticks", "death cloud", "gut mangler", or "slaughter sauce"! I guess all the good names have been taken........guess I will try to find a discount hoodie company and get an order out.

Dave, I sure don't mean to put you and others with small family companies in the same boat as Avery, Primos, Mossy Oak, etc... Some of them seem to have enough pro staff to field a small army. I think a lot claim to be just because they bought a shirt or hat at Wal Mart that says pro staff. I can sure understand the reasons to have a few people to get feedback from and spread the word about what you have to offer.

Now if we can just figure out a slogan to put on your hoodie. Something like "Church Decoys! Shoot 'em all, let God sort 'em out!"
You can just send me a large when you get them made up. :-)

I actually love that slogan! Did you trademark it yet? Hahaha. Our slogan is "Tell'em you went to Church!" I have had people ask me what a Church Decoy was and even asked if I made cardboard cut-outs that would look like them that they could put in the pew. Hahahahahaha. I usually tell them that I make a false front that can be put in front of a bar or strip club that will hide their establishment and "spruce up the neighborhood." Maybe I SHOULD start making them!

Hahahaha For some reason that makes me think of the end of Blazing Saddles when they make 'exact replicas' of the towns people.
