So any thoughts or experiences on the Gator Boats Duckhunter design. Supposedly built to plan with extra resin and cloth used over marine plywood. Was used and then sat for several years now has been used a couple of years had a 20 hp long tail mud motor on it.
Thanks
John

Not yet LOL I talked to him a while this morning. My garage is empty at the moment, so I having the buying fever LOL, if I wait I know summer will come and we will be too busy and it will get late on me. Nothing gets accomplished once my boats are in the water for the charter season and my other engineering work gets rolling in the construction season.

Fellow I believe in North Carolina has taken that basic hull to a whole new level. I believe he has posted on forum in the past. Did a tutorial here that I remember on rebuilding a wooden scull boat couple years ago. I think brad taylor may have been his name. Might want to check out his boats based off that design.

The owner of the one I inquired about was built in North Carolina by the seller after he went to see Mr. Taylor. He could not justify the $$ to buy one so him and a friend built this one off the gator plans. I have seen nothing but pictures so I was just trying to accumulate some background info on these boats. Taylor took this design to a whole new level based on what I see on his website, they look good.
