GHG decoy backside "dent"

After getting a Mack's PW heads-up from Rick Ligman on the GHG Pro Grade Flocked Head Mallard Harvester Pack deal, I ordered a dozen, as my G&H set needs some company. "Honest honey, these are all the decoys I need". To which she replied, "and how many do you have now"? Never enough I thought to myself.
I received them and had one with a pretty good dent in the back from getting squashed in shipping. Hmm, how to fix this, since incoming ducks will surely notice!
Before doing any major surgery, I simply placed it on top of my indoor wood boiler, which gets warm to the touch. Shazam, within 30 minutes it popped right back out to its original shape. I know this is a carvers site primarily, but also know some of us here lack the tools, time, or skills and just love duck hunting, so I thought I'd pass my experience on for what's it worth.
My G&H are hard plastic and have done very well after 25 years. We'll see how these soft plastic dekes hold up. I can always have RL fill them with foam, if needed.
Side note...They look very nice, and got them for $129, and free shipping. ($8 surcharge for size) Plus a 12 slot thinly made bag for
protecting them from rubbing against each other.
Again, my thanks to RL for helping spend my $$.

I have some G&H gadwalls, cans & redheads that I bought in 1997 & 98. Still going strong.

Sounds sorta like putting a dented pin-pong ball in boiling water. Good idea as long as the decoy is air-tight. I bought some cheapo mallards to repaint as bluebills and ringnecks once, and they all had a hole in the tail where the injector was. At first I thought about using caulk or something to plug it, then I thought, well, if they ever get a slow leak from a crack or a shot, I can just squeeze the water out of them.

Does anyone know if the G+H decoys are still available? The first decoys I bought about a decade ago were a dozen G+H mallards with swivel heads. They have held up better than any other plastic decoys I've seen.

I looked at picking up a few more, but they are no longer in the Cabela's catalog, and I never looked further.

Apparently g&h and cabelas have gone their separate ways. G&H decoys are still available however directly from them

Jeff, you get them through Gander Mtn or go direct. My original goose floaters are G&H.
Another good American made decoy company is Higdon. i have been very happy with the foam filled mallards
