GHG repaints

I know these are only GHG decoys. I haven't started carving yet, I hope to someday. I just thought it would be cool to repaint some and paint some into hens. I think I'm the only one around to have GHG hen Whistlers LOL

That pair of GE look great! What type of paint did you use, and, how well do you think it will stick under hunting conditions? I have have a couple GHG GE that have never been in the water, and they are already loosing paint.

Thanks Bill. I’ve been painting all my working decoys for years with Ace Hardware exterior flat house paint. They even have a pic of me holding a dead hen Ringbill up to their computer so as to match the color LOL

My interpretation would be that he is referring to the Green Head Gear brand of decoy, hence "GHG"

Me paint E Allan decoys,,, love to. At the moment I have two ducks and a Brant at the Taxidermist. I have to kiss enough butt with an ever increasing honey-do list that my wife is enjoying. So I don’t think E Allan decoys are in my near future, maybe someday. I’m looking to buy 6 more Whistler heads from Lou this year for some of my 72’s
