Glad it's almost here but

The bathing suit is perfect cover, the geese will never suspect you're hunting. And as much as the heat is unseasonable, I'm more concerned that this tropical storm/hurricane gives us a pass late next week.

I am hoping Erika will bring 3 or 4 inches or rain. We are way too dry - and my 2 swamps have no water at all.

It's 53 right now - great working weather. Not looking forward to next week's humid heat.

ct river is pretty low, but there are geese around.

the whitney has enough depth to shield my lily white legs when I'm sculling geese in my bathing suit. its the hypodermic needles in the river mud i worry about when I'm wading around barefoot or in sandals
 
Those look like temps that we normally have in September. Good luck. Be thankful you don't have to look where you want to sit down in the cover/blind. Clean your birds right away maybe bringing some ice along if possible.
