IMO, do not like Gorilla Glue. It's messy, foamy, and once dry - it's brittle. I had attached a wood block to some angle iron with Gorilla glue and when I bumped into a dock, it snapped the glue joint. I've found that 2 part epoxy is superior to Gorilla glue. For joining wood, I'm a fan of Titebond products. I've never had Titebond glue fail. It's always the wood around the joint that breaks first.
