Glueing wood decoys together?

I realize that epoxy is the preferred adhesive for gluing hollowed out decoys together I I don't want to debate it's superiority, but I have some DAP Plastic Wood Resin G;ue that I have used for outdoor projets and it holds up very well. I like it becasue it cleans up with water and you can mix it up fairly thick for gap filling. So My queastion is have any of you carvers ever used this stuff for decoys and if so how well has it held up?

Weldwood Plastic Resin Glue was my standard for many years - it's a fine product. Just make sure both surfaces mate well and you can get clamping pressure where you need it.
