Peeps I’m looking for a weather website without all the pop up adds and advertising and other hoopla like you get on the weather channel.

Admittedly almost through the mouse trying to just check the weather for my upcoming spearfishing tournament and … I’m just not in the mood today

Thank you for your recommendations

I use weather radar app. I really like to watch radar. The only annoying thing is you get one 5 second add between each city you go browse after searching. I do really enjoy being able to open radar 5 days in advance and see whats coming across the country or in my local area. Its pretty damn accurate too. Been using it for 4 years now.

I'll second the National Weather Service. Most accurate forecasts I can find--especially if you get the local "Forecasters discussion" so you understand where the uncertainties are. I also use the former Intellicast radar feeds that are now hosted on Weather Underground a lot. https://www.wunderground.com/maps/radar/current/usa

And for wind forecasts, a sailing friend put me onto this site, which has very accurate information on existing wind speed and direction, and also predicts out 24+ hours in 3 hour increments. https://www.windfinder.com/#10/42.0503/-70.1834/spot

I use several, each one could say something different so look at them all and take the average of what they are saying essentially. The weather underground has been my main one though, only problem is they have their wind forecast jacked up where it says it will be blowing the opposite direction of what it really will be.
