The straps are 2" black webbing.

I know Diane has used various materials over the years. Does this material have a coating (vinyl like) on the inside face? are the individual pockets sewn completely down to the bottom?

Yes, Dave, these bags do have a coating on the fabric. They are not sewn all the way to the bottom
