I think this is an LL Bean Coastal... Can anyone confirm that? It's 24" long. There are no markings on the bottom but the keel and dowel are just like my Bean Coastal blackducks...

I have a goose decoy just like that but it isn't an LL Bean.
The body is much narrower than an LL Bean and the head is
also different than any LL Bean decoy that I have seen. LL. Bean
never offered a sleeper head on a goose that I know of......
The decoy does resemble the ones that were made by Coot Decoy
Co. which is no longer in business.
Maybe someone knows for sure.......this is what I have figured from
doing a little research and studying on my decoy.

The body and paint look like a Bean/Soule but not the head. Possibly a replacement head?

LL Bean Decoys have a stencil paint scheme on the back. Hank"s decoy
looks like it was done with a fan brush.
I don't know how to post pictures, but if someone sends me their
e-mail address, I will send you a side-by-side picture of a decoy like Hank's and a LL Bean to post up.

Still no positive identification on this decoy.......... any other ideas as to who made it? I have actually decided to sell my sleeper that is pictured...........
