Howdy everyone,
I have a very specific question. One time, in the not to distant past, I used a crock pot recipe for cooking goose, which called for an entire quart of heavy whipping cream. I stumbled upon this recipe somewhere in the vast internet, did not save it, can't remember the details and now, can not find it again.
Does the use of a quart of whipping cream to cook the goose in, sound familiar to anyone? The cream was NOT used as a marinade, the goose was cooked in a bath of the cream. The only thing else I recall is, I believe green peppers were in the ingredient list as well. Very simple list of only 4 or 5 ingredients.
The cream came out almost like a stroganoff sauce, although I did not use it as such.
I know there are tons of goose recipes out there, but I'd really like to track this one down if I can.
