$129.99 at Best Buy. My hint for Christmas!
These are really nice and durable. We just started using them to shoot video while testing combine front end equipment in the field. I was surprised just how good the videos are.

And I just got my Hero 2 this past Friday.... Son of a...

But list on this guy is $400 and I got my 2 for $263 and it should be good for what I plan to do with it. But kinda sucks I just bought an old model.

I took it out with me this past weekend and captured some cool video of a woodie shoot.

Absolutely love my Hero 2, but this looks awesome! Bit pricey though since I already have the 2.

Wifi is for a remote. Apparently you can control up to 50 camera at a time with it. We just push the button.

I have the first gopro and the gopro 2 - I used to use them for skydiving videos. Now I use them for hunting - easy attatch to my bow and shotgun - Taking them both to Canada tomorrow for a week of hunting. There is also a collar out there you can put on your pup and the camera attaches to and looks out over the top of his head while making retrieves. These are great little cameras!

What does WiFi on the camera let you do? Upload videos to youtube from the field?

Eric

Basically you can control the cameras remotely from a key FOB.

You can hnag it from your neck or use the wrist strap.

Makes a huge difference in turning the cameras on/off.

Just looking at the specs on the Hero 2 vs the Hero 3. The Hero 2 is 11mp stills where as the Hero 3 is only 5 mp. So you are sacrificing resolution for the WiFi feature apparently. Looks like the video portion is the same. Very cool cameras dont really need it but I sure would like to get one. ;>)
