Got another fishy done.

This is to help me remember all the good times we've had catching pinks down in Haines with the kids. I made it out of a scrap of red cedar and used brass shim stock for the fins. It's one of my better fish so far.

And I've been making some stuff out if caribou antler for quick cash.

That salmon is very nice. Love the grain of the wood. Big thumbs up on that one.

Forgot to post the bluegill I made for my brother.

The angle makes the mouth look a little funny in this picture but shows the colors better then the other pictures I have.

I'm going to make a big pike(44") soon but I think I'll do a couple little trout or something first. Need to get back in the carving mind set.

Tim, I can't believe how well you carve/paint eyes. I thought you were using glass eyes until I got that walleye in hand. Unbelievable.

You HAVE TO post pictures of that big pike if you ever make one.

awesome mike. i don't have the artistic license that you have.. i just have to follow directions from someone else. maybe if i stick to decoys and fish long enough i'll start to find my own way. tupelo trout finished today...

i too am going giant next time. once i get my hands on some HDU foam, i'm going to make a giant brown.
