Thanks Bob, for your input. I love the look fo the brockways (and lumberyard, etc...), I see them around here quite often, were I looking for a more traditional design, that is exactally what I'd go with. Very cool, I'd love to have one for seaducks, painted gray. I'll look though the others you list.

Check out this dory site...I will be building the 20' carolina ...7' beam have the plans...very simple www.spirainternational.com You will not need the high HP however. Just my .2$ Markus

Tod, have you thought about building the biggie. You, your bride and lab can camp on it and go to Block/Fishers's I., etc.

It'll be a stripah AND camping machine.
