Great product for throwing clay targets

Was out in South Dakota last weekend hunting up some pheasants. On Sunday morning my Brother-in-law says we are going to go and shoot some clay targets. This guy always has the latest stuff but I didn't think you could improve upon something as simple as a clay target thrower. I was wrong.

A few years back I dislocated my elbow while building the kids jungle gym playset in the backyard. Since that time, my elbow has been a little screwy and unable to go completely straight. Try throwing a target when you can't straighten your arm.

Anyway, if you can still find them, the product is made by Hyper Products in Minnesota. They will be out of business soon due to the raising of corporate income taxes in this State so try to order one quickly. Acually, the company has stopped making this item but they can still be found on the web. The product is basically a sling shot for clay pidgeons. Pull the target holder back and release and the targets go straight, level and far. We did not have one target break on us (while throwing them, not while shooting them) the whole morning and found a whole bunch of ways to have some fun with the Hyper product.

Here's the lnik. Click on the Hyper Clay Disk Thrower. Watch the vid, look at the pic's. I think the guy in the vid only hit 1 o2 two with one shot.

The video is amusing. Looks like the guy is shooting lead over wetlands, and he's taking three shots on most of the clays. Product looks great thought. I notice they have it at Sierra Trading Post.

I goofed it isn't made in Minnesota but Tennesse but if you're looking for one you might check them out. I lucked in and got it at Wal Mart for $74 on a close out---they run retail around $200.

Kind of funny everytime he released one of the birds it was like bam...bam...........bam. Guy is a horrible shot. Part that made me laugh was right at the end of the video he got one with the first shot and the thrower was like "alright got it on the first shot". Looks pretty neat though I may have to check it out

Do check itout. This little thrower did almost everything the bigger tire mounted thrower did but in a much more portable and easily storable unit. I liked being able to angle the thrower a little and watch what the targets would do. It made the targets much more unpredictable and harder to hit.

Not trying to hijack the thread, but just a note on DO-ALL-TRAPS, I bought their Aerial Assault Automatic Trap Thrower and it's AWESOME.....Had a breakdown, called the company and had FREE PARTS in 2 or 3 days, PLUS they sent me the new safety switch that they came out with on the newer model......ALL FREE.

Customer Service with this company is A+++....
