Gun Lube Rust Preventative Product Testers Wanted

I had gotten approval at the end of last hunting season from Eric and the moderators for this, but then decided to wait until before this season to post it.

Our company developed a REALLY good lanolin based lube and rust preventative over the past few years for mainly automotive and ag use, but recently started testing it for gun and reel lube as well. We've done a lot of testing over the past few years, and in salt spray testing it protects from rust for 10-20 times longer than any other gun lube we've found (CLP, Barrier, Weapons Shield, military lubes, RemOil, Hoppes, a bunch of others).

In addition, it won't freeze like other lubes. I got my buddies and everyone around here to test it for a few years and nobody had their guns freeze. Before this we had been using dry graphite lube as everything else we tried froze at some point. Last year when it was 8 below I let all my semi-autos out in a snowdrift over night to test them and none of them froze. Here's the video of that.

What I'm looking for help from you guys for is to test the product over this season and give me your thoughts on it. If anyone is interested, either email me at ksherbine@berkebileoil.com , or pm me here and with your name, email and address and I can send you a can to test and report back on.

Here's the link to the website: http://www.berkebileoil.com/pfc-recreation.html

Thanks a TON guys!

Lanolin smells horrible...I recently tried fluid film and its quite disgusting. I have been running my sbe 2 on Aerokroil. Always willing to try something new.

It definitely smells different. It's not the solvent smell of other gun oils. It's more of a natural smell. The smell goes away quickly though. Never really bothered me, but probably does bother some.

We actually have a dirt scented version we developed for deer hunters, but I don't have the connections in the sporting goods market (Cabelas, etc) , so don't think we'd have the sales to justify it.

Kirk, i have some buddise and self here in delawhere who would love to field test for you--Salt water folks, we are.

If you are doing samples, we will be glad to test them out for you guys.

Lanolin smells horrible.

Compared to the mud and muck (and week old opened sardine cans) we duck hunters get into all the time it cant smell that bad!
