gunsmithing question

I have a browning gold and need to replace the magazine cut off. The job looks simple enough. Drive the small pin in the cut off and the pin that it rotates on should slide out. However, I can not seem to slide the pin out. I cannot grab the pin or see a way to drive it out. Am I missing something?

I figured it out. I needed to present it as a puzzle to my 12 year old son. Boy that boy is handy to have around.
