Hardware for Layout Boat Spray Curtain

Gentlemen,

I recently ordered the spray shield hardware kit from waterfowl works. If memory serves me correct, a previous picture on their site had me assuming it included the stainless rod which allows for various height settings. I got it on the mail yesterday and it was just standard bimini couplers and plastic tubing. The plastic tubing is approximately 8 inches in height and doesn't allow for adjustment - I'd like to be able to get the skirt up higher if needed. I'm going to send it back, as for my application, it's not what I'm looking for.

I want to go with the stainless rod and thumb screw setup so I can vary the height depending on what the waves are doing. I also like the thinner profile (and less shadow) of the stainless rod vs. standard bimini hardware and 3/4" plastic tubing.

Does anyone have a good site to purchase this hardware?

I appreciate your time.

Thanks-
Paul

Don't know if this will help, or give you the adjustment you want, but there is a rod and thumb screw setup to hold open the windshield windows of a cabin boat. Prowl around a decent marine hardware store or site and see if there is something you can adapt.
