Harvest time

Anya nearly hit that big buck last night on the way home from the Bistro.
Kaden took me for a walk today and we found a fresh set of bear prints, and turkey tracks after he busted a couple of quail and a mallard up off of the canal.
That bear is hitting the elderberries and the apple trees up there, and the air is sweet and thick with the smell of autumn.

We decided to walk down to the creek this afternoon and sure enough the salmon were in there tearing it up, spinning and working the redds.

Reckon it is harvest time.

I would have to agree. I know it is getting close to duck season out there and I hope to read more of your well-chronicled hunts. It is a wonderful way to remain connected to the PNW from a distance.
