Sad day today I had to put my old lab Huck to sleep today. He made it to the ripe old age of 13 1/2 but his body gave out in the end. He had been struggling with arthritis and bad hips for a couple of years after I retired him. He will be sorely missed, he gave me ten good years in the field and 13 1/2 great years as a companion. As he moves on I hope he will be able to reunite with his old hunting buddies. Briar who patiently taught his to retrieve ducks and Gunner the Brittany he used to flush and retrieve pheasants with.
I will have to dig up some picture of him.
found two from last year hunting had to re size really small...have to learn photobucket
