I am Patrick Green. Im new to this website. Ive Known Eric Patterson since i was in second grade because i am good friends with his son Thomas. I bet yall have heard about him some. Ive duck hunted north alabama for must of my life. Hopefully we all have great seasons this year. Good luck to everyone.
 
There is no doubt that you are ready, Patrick. Be safe and shoot straight. Have fun. I will look forward to reading about some of your hunts this year.

Folks, Patrick is one of Thomas's closest friends and one of the hardest working young duck hunters I know. Below is a pic of Patrick from one of the most memorable hunts ever. Three boys all on their last youth duck hunt limited out in less than an hour. Glad to have you onboard Patrick.

i do Dani. Here is one, it was the first time i went hunting with Mr. Patterson and Thomas. Well the first flight had ended and it slowed down so Mr. Patterson started to walk around this old blind that was destroyed by the old owners that had called that timber hole the corn hole anyway he pokes a big hole in his wader and i guess water was coming in pretty fast and by the time we had packed up and took pictures he said it was over flowing to the other boot and then i said has hit your cornhole yet and then we left laughing about the hunt

I also found a very old post (Jan 2009) from when you and Thomas were in third grade. Below is an excerpt.

After this morning hunt we came home and unloaded the gear with no hopes for going out again since Michelle was on call. Thomas called his close friend Patrick and asked him to come over. Thomas and Patrick are developing a real close friendship with a common interest in duckhunting, as Patrick duck hunts with this father and brothers about as much as Thomas. They ask if they can go to the pond at the end of the street and I tell them sure, go ahead. About 10 minutes later I see the two of them wearing camo with a decoy sack so full they have to drag it. I leave them to their fun and go to the workshop to mess with the planer I'm working on. Around sunset I head to the pond and see them dragging the decoys home. I pull alongside them and they climb in the truck with great enthusiasm and begin to tell me about the mallards they worked into the spread of decoys. I have no doubt they worked some in as we see flocks heading that way every evening. As I'm driving home I look over to see the happy young boys, proud of their solo accomplishment, and send a prayer. Please Lord let them have this same enthusiasm when they are teens for surely this kind of dedication and involvement will keep them out of trouble. I am truly blessed.

Welcome Patrick you are off to a good start, stories are always welcome. I hope you like it here as much as i do.
 
Does Thomas know you still use that old pic of him as your avatar???
