Hey Hank

nice I missed that one and it would have been a good distance to drive. I think it was a little high too by about 150. I really like the Yates Snowflake bandsaw they are really sweet. The only problem with them is they have 10 inches under the guide so you giving up height for the other features. I'm working late so I have not had time to keep an eye out the last couple days. Thanks for the heads up. I'm still looking for you. HHG

Just thinking about the search for woodworking equipment. Hank, you probably heard that Moosehead Furniture in Maine, announced they were closing after 55 years in business. Sad news for a lot of employees and customers. Granted their machinery and equipment might be too industrial, but there must be a lot of items being liquidated that might be of interest to carvers and boat builders.

I had not heard about that closing are they having a auction for the equipment? I'm very interested because it is close? HHG

Hank,

I only know about this from news reports during the past week or two. You might want to call the office
207-997-3621, or the Town Hall, Monson, ME. You might also want to see if any of the local bankers know anything. I am speculating that they will liquidate the assets...kind of usual practice, unless someone else wants to take over.
