How Cold in Your Backyard?

Carl, thermometer was at -20 at 6:30 this morning on the East coast of Minnesota (Pool 7), -23 yesterday. We have some extra ice if you want some! :^)

When I went to bed. Temp hit -26 deg. F later and the wind chill was over -60 deg. F. Coldest day in a decade and second coldest day in a generation we were told. It was darn cold. Downright balmy today at -12 right now.

16.7 was the low for the polar vortex in Hattiesburg. Had to cover the satsumas. Quite a job as they have gotten big since the last time I had to cover them a couple of years back.

It was 11 degrees 2 nights in a row in Arkansas. I haven't been back up there yet hoping my camper is not frozen.

Still to cold given that my boiler has been down since Tuesday. It is belching Carbon Monoxide and we are living on space heaters and the heat pump at 58 degrees right now.

Can't get anyone to come fix the boiler, everyone is booked out weeks right now. Argh.
