On my Devlin Mallard, 12'9" x 61", 3 coats bottom& sides, 2 coats top & inside + oars + seat + layout board took just over 2 qts. All except oars, seat board & layout board has epoxy/fiberglas covering, so none penetrated into the wood. (kinda thick layers of paint) I used Lou's FME paint, good stuff, even held up to breaking ice this past season. Hope this helps.

I used a gallon and a half of FME on my BBSB, this included the canvas, interior, decoy rack, etc. I rolled and brushed it, I suppose spraying it would go further. I think the hull has at least 3 coats. It wore like iron! I broke ice several times with the boat this season. not a scratch on the hull. The only paint loss was on the 3M 5200 that bonded the ice runners and the ice runners themselves. Wish I had used the black 5200! But a little touch up this summer will make it look great again until the ice again! Ducks can't see it but I can.

If you roll or brush, you will want a gallon IMO. By box is 12ft by 62" wide, and baybe a little deeper than yours

my 13ft boat used almost a full gallon for 3 coats outside, 2 coats inside plus flooring, oars, etc. l still have enough left over for touch ups. All paint was Lous FME and brushed on.... the stuff wears like iron

I was gonna use parkers marsh grass but everyone seems to like fme where can I get fme online or store I live in south jersey

F.M.E. is what i used and found Lou on the forum here and he has a web site lockstockandbarrel . Lou is a great guy ,very helpful and he has a full line of boat paints and decoy paints also and is easy to talk to for advice.

I used FME on my boat and it has held up great for 4 seasons now. I sprayed it on with HVLP gun and had a hard time at first but Lou was very helpful in getting me dialed in. I had to thin it way down to use my sprayer. I believe he recommends an airless sprayer but I did not have one available. I used a gallon to cover my whole boat which is a 15' Garvey and then got 2 pints of other colors for the camo. His website is http://www.lockstockbarrell.com/
