what was wrong with paper- a renewable resource

I remember hunting grouse in paper company areas back then and listened to the folks talk about losing their jobs

plastic bags were a mess from the start, it wasn't long before I heard from boating friends about them getting sucked into the motors

i went back to paper with the new edict -

Should anyone find themselves completely out of TP keep in mind paper towels do not break down in water and can clog plumbing, same with napkins. Instead put your soiled TP substitute in a paper bag and burn them in a metal can when full enough to burn yet still controllable. Dump the ashes when cooled (in your garden if you have one).

We also opted for paper bags, at 5cents, to 10 cents, per bag during new law.

Made me smile when I read on the bottom of the paper bags, MADE IN THE USA. Been a longtime since I've seen that.


I also hunted Ruffed Grouse on timber & paper property for many years. Many folks did loose their jobs, and communities took a big hit.



Have No Fear about the shortage of POOP PAPER!!

My old home state of PA has come to the rescue, and is working overtime to fill the....Void.

And that is no $hit.
