The design seems to have a bit dory and bit pirogue influence. Would not be hard to adapt to plywood construction.

At first I thought it was a dory. It wasn't until I saw it was decked and had a cockpit that it really did have duckboat features. I doubt too many folks will sail or row to hunting spots, but I thought it was interesting enough to include.

I think all these designs are good to see development of boat designs. You can see plywood start to take over boat designs by late 1950s early 1960s.

Very true. They all provide food for thought about what our next boat should be and perhaps some aspect of the design that has been missing in recent years will re-emerge.
