Ideas on a small duck boat

Brad, When I hunt out of the 10' aqua pod I use a layout seat and recline in the boat out in the vegetation in the marsh far from shore. I cant fit my dog behind me when laying out in the boat and shooting. Where you putting your dog? Then you just help the dog back on the boat after a retrieve? In the redhead I could put the dog behind me and that boat was such a tank I could grab the dog and drag him back in the boat. The water is to deep for me to get out and help the dog.
 
It was over solidly 115 pounds with the wet foam, but honestly I have not yet weighed it without. I picked it up (barely) and stepped on a 300 pound bathroom scales and pegged it with my 185 pound self on there. All I can tell you now is I can actually load it without a visit to the hospital afterwards.
