How do you like that? My daughter and her husband blessed us with a sweet little addition to the family and her name is Harper. Pretty cool first name, don't see that often.

Old Gramps will have to sneak her (and the youth 870 waiting for her) out back to shoot at pop cans in a few years. One of the first things my daughter said was "She isn't going duck hunting with you right away, so forget it."

Who me? I didnt even say anything............(yet)

Thanks everyone!! I appreciate your thoughts and kind words...even Lou's.

They only had to stay in the hospital overnight and they are back home now getting situated. Spent some time with them today trying to get "hold" time (and thats not easy around our family)

They had her room all ready for her but still thinking about additional storage for her closet so Gramps has a couple of projects now.
