I'm still here on earth ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

All those young pretty nurses just got old and retired after putting up with old guys like you. Good news Dave! Glad to hear it went well. Now get to work!!!

Great news Dave. I love the fact you posted before talking with your doctor. Now that's a duck hunter with proper priorities! Have a speedy and full recovery.

To all,

Thanks for all the support and prayers. I appreciate all of your replies. I even enjoyed some of the more lighter comments (but I wouldn't recommend you give up your day job just yet).

Dave,
Glad it all worked out for you and I hope long term the procedure was a success.

as to the male nurse slam...hey, easy does it there...what do you have against male nurses?

I was one of them for 9 years before I went on for further education. LOL.

now, in the recovery phase take it easy, don't push yourself, especially for the next 2-3 weeks when you will be at the most risk for having heart issues.

Eric,
I don’t have anything against male nurses but let me give you an analogy.

Let’s say nurses are like decoys. The female nurse is like a finely crafted cedar decoy with nicely flowing lines and colors which take your breath away. If we can agree upon that then the male nurse would be in the class of a plastic decoy.

Sure he can do the work and will get the job done,,,,,,,,, but he is not nearly as nice to look at during the slow periods. ;>) ;>)

Now that's some funny shit right there! :)

Glad to see and hear that you are "still here on earth....."
More thoughts for your speedy recovering and hopes that the procedure alleviates permently your distress.

Best _ Paul

Just be thankful you didn't get one of those burly ex army female nurses! Glad to here that everything went well. Just take it easy for a while and you will back at it in no time.
