At the Parkertown, NJ show. Forgot to bring Roy Schellinger's phone number and address. I wanted to stop there today and look at his boats. Could someone please send me the info, post it, or call me with it. My number is 917-975-7565. Thank you so much. Regards, Bill Abbate

First time I've never seen boats at this show. That's why I went to Roy Schellinger's house to see his boats in person. I also went to Bill Simonsen's house to see his boats. What a day I had !! Trying to figure out the 3rd boat for my fleet. It's so hard after seeing all of these beautiful boats. Both men were real gentlemen and spent a lot of time with myself and my buddy. Just got home.

Well, you went and saw two really neat guys that build really neat boats. I have always wanted to get a classic sailing sneak from Bill Simonsen, I always liked them the best for a Barnegat Bay sneakbox. I spoke with him at the Tuckerton show several years back. And Roy Schellingers boats are very cool too. Did I mention they are fast? Do they have foam in them? Anyway, did Roy tell you to put the plug in from the outside? He gave me a dissertation on that one day at the boat ramp, after I had put mine in from the inside. That was in between yelling at his dogs, who weren't really paying attention to him anyway. Did he show you the hitch on the front of his truck? Pretty good idea. I have only ever talked to him at the boat ramp but always enjoyed it. Both of those guys are classic in their own way. Bill is a real gentleman, and Roy is the brash guy from NJ. You can't go wrong with either of those boats, they are both made very well and they are great hunting boats. You should get one of each.
