It happened, I slipped over into the dark side.

I thought maybe the second picture was going to be an after picture for a Just For Men Beard commercial and the dog was just the color he was matching. :)

Tim,

I'd say that comment was hitting below the belt,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but clearly, I would have to be standing on my head for it to be below my belt. :>) :>)

As for you other jokers,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Have your fun now with the jokes, I'll have MY fun with Ginger, Ha!! I win,so there!

Good lookn pup ya got there Dave, I'm sure Jack will forgive ya for going to the darker side. ;>) Have a great time with your new buddy!
Dennis

What an adorable pup. Glad you made that decision, Dave. Best of luck in your training program. It sure will be fun to see pics of her growing up and finding out how she is doing. Ginger will make a great hunting partner.

So explain what you mean by the dark side? If that was my wife it would be a discussion about dark chocolate verses Hershey bar chocolate. Are chocolate labs forbidden?

Have fun with the pup, good looking pup
Enjoy the training

Matt

Why are you sleeping on the floor?

Ginger will not be allowed the run of the house. Therefore to ease here seperation anxiety and promote a good bond between us, I will be sleeping next to her crate (in the kitchen) for the next few days. She spent most of the first evening (pre-bedtime) sleeping across my legs with Jack by my side.

Mostly just a play on words for some of the longtime posters here. Carving with black cork is sometimes referred to as the dark side as opposed to tan cork.

As to chocolate labs being forbidden, no but my wife said either another yellow or maybe a brown, definitely NOT black.

Ahhh I see....funny thing...I said to Barbara "Shall we get a yellow?" Her reply "Black" I would like to try a yellow. I have always had black dogs.

I was a bit disappointed...thought you were getting some carving done. As to sleeping on the floor, I assumed your wife was miffed that you brought home another dog...

I hate to say it, but she's prettier than you Dave!!!
Have fun, aint puppies great?

At least it is the kitchen floor and not the floor in the outdoor kennel. It got down to 10 degrees last night.

And here I was looking for a picture of a moto in your spread......

Nice looking pup. Enjoy the days sleeping on the floor.
