Thought I would share a picture of a goose call that I finished today. It is the first one that I have put a brass band on. The can is for a friend. Lots of projects going, just can not seem to get time to finish what I start. To many turtles to catch these days

Dutch, sorry to say that the naked bird will be a boy duck. We want tell anyone of your admirations of him. The call is stabalized tiger maple for the tone chamber. The varrel is stabalized Amboyna or something else. It was the last piece of whatever it was laying in the shop. I think it is the best shonding goose call that I have made so far. Here is a close up. Blurred a little

Sweet call, great decoy. Can't wait to see it with paint on it.

Good looking call!!! and great decoy as usual. That boy is growing like a weed!!! I am looking forward to hunting with ya'll some more next year. Shawn
 
Thanks guys. The bird is all Tupelo. Made it thicker and wider than my normal pattern. I left the length the same. It may be my new gunner style. Scott, as for the hat , I think we have another one around here somewhere. Shawn- He always says something about-- remember the time me and you, Shawn, and Brian hunted. Still the most incredible Gadwall sight or duck sight that I have ever seen. Rick I will try and get with you this week.
