Forum,

I ws an early member but haven;t been around much lately. I was looking through a few older posts and was wondering how many duckboats.net people have acquired vintage shotguns to match their vintage attitudes. As many here know, I am on occasion, known to shoot a Burt Becker bored SuperFox, enough said. How many of you shoot heavy Parker Bros guns? L.C. Smith Wildfowlers, early (and late) Ithaca 10's? I am justly curious.
Thanks from an old-timer.

Oh, hello to the old guard.

Jeff

Hey Jeff,

Good to see your still kick'n. To answer your question, No I haven't. I've discovered I'm way too rough on my equipment to think about taking a vintage shotgun out hunting. Tin boats and guns with replaceable (non-gunsmith) parts. I have started to use carved decoys much more frequently

Keep sticking your head in,
Scott

Hi Jeff,

Good to see you back here. I do shoot a SxS now days but not vintage - SKB-385,20 ga. I looked around for a few years and never found something I couldn't live without - with always an eye open for an HE like yours. Pricing on many of those old guns has really gone through the roof so I'm satisfied with what I shoot.

Jeff! How the heckarya?

Good to "see" you again.

Still haven't found a Fox Super, but I did pick up a Superposed Magnum that will make a trip or two this year...

Glad you wandered back around to us!!
