Met up with John and family on the Easton Shore of MD. John's sister and BIL own/run the Tilghman Island Country Store. A neat old school country store on the island. Caters to the locals for all their needs! Great food, baked goods, groceries and spirits. Some of John's decoys are displayed and sold there, as well of some of his mom's sewing and baking.....

These pictures were taken in mom's kitchen:

I have been to Tilghmans island many times. Is the store just as you cross the bridge on the right. I am heading down that way next Sat and will stop by and check them out.

No, the store is down on the left a short distance. IDK how many decoys will be there apparently they are moving quickly! The food, baked goods, and beer selection is worth the stop regardless! Ask Patty or John to show you the decoys incase they are not all on display... they fit alot in that store.

Dave, thank you very much for posting these. I hadn't logged on in a few days and was not aware the pics were here. So far the redhead, bluebill, and the matching set of canvasback flatties are sold. The store they are in is the Tilghman Island Country Store, also known locally as TICS.

My sister is quite the foodie and has fresh baked goods every day. My mother makes cakes for the store. My brother in law is a beer guy and there are always new and interesting beers there. Its worth a stop.

John
