Again, your email address has been compromised and is emailing a virus.
Please see what you can do to correct it.

Apparently I have been fortunate this time and have not recieved an email from John - yet. Is this an email with no subject and then the body is just a link to a bogus url, sometimes touting medical stuff or risque sites? I have had a couple of friends that have this and can't seem to get rid of it no matter what they do - and one is on a Mac. I think the only thing they had in common is that they are both on att.net If anyone has a solution, I'd appreciate it.
 
It appears like it's been deleted from your system and just goes dormant for a few weeks and comes back again - or maybe reinfects the host.

I tried installing some new anti virus software this week. It doesn't appear to be working.

I did however just clean out all of the old addresses from my e-mail address book. I figure I can always give you a shout on here. So you shouldn't get any more spam from me. But let me know if you do.
 
I called a guy in town who will clean up our computer for us. If I have enough money, I'll bring it to him this week. Hope that solves it.
