Joining foam

I have finally gone through all of my foam blocks that I produced 15 years ago.

I use 2” think insulating foam, stacked and epoxied together.

The epoxy I used to use came from a friend and that is no longer available.

What are you using to join foam?

when I used to make burlapped foamers I glued the HD pink foam with gorilla glue. I tried about everything else and gorilla glue works the best.

put a line of glue down the middle, spray the other half of the foam with water and shake it off. Water is basically the catalyst that makes gorilla glue kick. You can start carving it within a couple hours.

Thank you Don. I’ll do that. I noticed the epoxy I tried today threw sparks when my bandsaw blade made contact.
