Just a little tip....

Upon seeing the Badger Air Brush setup for sale in the classifieds, I thought I'd throw out this little tip. Check out your local pawn shops. I bought the same setup shown in the classifieds still in the box for 60 bucks. I had asked the salesman how much and he responded $80.00. Showing my surprise as I knew what they were going for in the stores (well over $250.00 if not more) he said, "Yeah kinda high isn't it, give me $60.00 bucks", I didn't hesitate. I'm now looking for a 14"-16" band saw. A guy can always hope!

60$ for just the airbrush in the box? the 100LG that i use is 69$ with shipping from dixie art.

No, not just the airbrush, the compressor AND a 100LG airbrush. Along with looking for a band saw which I highly doubt I'll find, I'm looking for a table top sander with vertical and horizontal surfaces, and a router, either hand held or table. I think I'll have alot more success with those two.

ahh the added compressor is a good deal. i have a little grizzly AB compressor that gets real hot and runs constantly. one day i'll upgrade. good luck on the other items

Denny,

Never know what you'll find in the pawn shops, I bought a Craftsman 14" planer, like new condition for $40. Last year I bought an $850 Mc Dermott pool cue for $75, they were asking $175. Usually I offer 35-40% of their asking price, generally I don't pay over 50% of the asking price. If they don't take the offer I stop back in a week and make the same offer, most times they take it. Sounds like you done good on the airbrush.
