Hey guys,

It has been a few days since I've had a chance to post anything so I thought it was time for an update. I'm back in the states and spending a few days with my cousin in Colorado. We are having fun tormenting the local Rainbows.

I did have some bad luck between Denver and Colorado Springs. $430 dollars later I am the pround owner of a new water pump. Real neat experience being stuck on the side of I-25 during rush hour with a busted waterpump! Oh well, it could have been 150 miles from nowhere some place in Alaska! As it turned out I was able to limp to a garage and my cousin was able to come pick me up and run me back when my truck repair wa done the next day.

Life is all good again.

Glad your back in the Statesl and better to be hung up on a busy 4 lane than the Alkan highway. Enjoyed your travel pictures and appreciate the effort it took to give them to us. While in Colorado if you go thru Frisco stop and say hello to my grandson Matt. He's a flyrod fishing guide for Cutthroat Anglers out of Silverthorn and could direct you or take you to some excellent trout fishing.

First of all I know security at our borders is lax. They let in all kinds. The big tip off to any border patrol agent should be if they see a fishing pole. That person should be on a watch list. Common sense should tell them you can not believe what that person says. Fishermen have known not to tell where they have been. How big things are. How many they have. Whats on the end of there line. A very devious kind of person.( : )

Second Welcome back to the states. Cunning Dave Mcann. Who's theme song is "Fooled them once again" A true American.

May the sun be at your back as you cast you flies and the stories plentiful around the camp fire as stories are told of the great adventures in far away places. We are all ears.

Welcome back Dave. Sure looks like you had quite an adventure. Record as much as you can fast before it fades away. Details of the Argentina safari are getting a bit foggy already. Pictures help but write the details down or they may slip away. Again welcome back and congrats on fooling the border guards again.
