New York City's former mayor is spending $50 million to fight the NRA.

I sure hope that's not your tax dollars he's squirreled away. I can't wait for our idiot to jump on the band wagon!
 
Watch out for him. He says he is going to BUY votes by donating to politicians. Watch out for the NEW one too. Wants to get rid of the central park horses. Guess he doesn't like them.
 
And, and what's up with the horses. That's like a Central Park institution isn't it? Actually my oldest son's wife grew up not far from Central Park. She's very upset about that. Does that mean all the cops will be on have to give up their horses?
 
I just read a thread about this on another site.

Bloomberg is forming his own organization that will be a parent org to two other gun control agencies. They are going to use the NRA playbook...sign up members, take donations, and spend money. They are going to send out a questionnaire to candidates and rank them on "sensible gun reform", similar to the NRA report cards. If you aren't behind gun control - I'm sorry, "sensible gun reform" - then they will not support you.

This is after the special election in Illinois in which Bloomberg basically funded the candidate of choice, then trumpeted the victory as a victory for gun reform.

Funny how the Koch brothers are demons for "buying" elections, but Bloomberg buying his Mayor's title, the election in Illinois, etc. doesn't even raise an eyebrow...I guess if it's done for the "right" reasons, it's ok?
 
He should NEVER have been given a 3rd term as NYC mayor. Now, he wants to use his money to buy votes. Shame on him. Better yet....FU_K him and Cuomo !!!! We need someone wealthy, in his league, to trump him and support the NRA buy buying votes the other way.
