Kalash Layout shakedown..wet but not bloodied 1/7/12

great thinking on the tow boat. Very good execution.


The skirt looks good. I would figure out how to make it water proof at the base. (Sika Flex)

The Kalash looks awesome. Can the shooter scoot down a bit more fwd to get the bow down in the water?

You are going to kill some geese for sure with that thing.

Bob, I did seal the curtain when I installed it. I replaced the snaps with finish washers and SS screws every 6 inches first. Then using 5200 in a caulking gun, forced it alone and under the outside edge, filling between and along each screw. Then while it was freash, I added another screw between each.

Rufus was not all the way down in the photos, I'll find another shot that shows one of us down for real layout hunting, but neither of us are "little" guys so there is some exposure!

Looks like we will try it this weekend on ducks!
