kayaks

Hi Eric,
I wanted to post a few pics of my setup. It's a cheapo luan and 1X4 kayak, but easy to build, and fun for kids to paddle with a kayak paddle.
I can paddle and layout in it - works good.
I added an anchor system so I can anchor in moving water. I put two eye bolts fore and aft and a loop of rope through them with a carabiner in a bight of the rope. Like a clothesline for an anchor. I have a cleat amidship that I can wrap the loop around to hold the anchor wherever i want it, so i can point upstream or downstream. I use a small 8Lb. grappel anchor with a float so I can leave the anchor and come back if needed.

The predator comes with a factory installed clothesline system just like that but the anchor they give you is way to small When hunting I'll upgrade mt anchor but the basic system is a keeper.
