Update and BIG THANKS!
First off Marsh is still hanging in there on steroids and anti-inflammatories enjoying his canned dog food and now unlimited people table scraps. The better news is that Jetty just joined the family today. He's a black male out of Ken Young's Michigander kennel. Thank you Mike Rosiak for the lead, I guess we'll be hunting siblings. Post lots of pictures.
For all those who responded or unsuccessfully queried into litters thank you so much. It's great having Jetty join us on such short notice. This is such a great site to attract such a super group of sportsmen (You too Dani).

This isn't a post I was expecting to make, but Marsh's diagnose of lymphoma cancer is going to leave a huge hole in our lives. With Barb home for the summer getting, a puppy now, works out really well for us. So floating this out to the community, does anyone know of a solid litter of hunting line labs, in reasonable driving distance of CT? Personally, I have a preference for black male pups, but that's not to the the exclusion of other colors. I can promise him a life filled with love and hunting, duck, goose and pheasant, with lots of icy water to swim in.
Thanks all,
Scott
