To those in the Northern Indiana area, my hunting parnter is due within two weeks...She is a 3 year old female black lab...I bred her to another lab from the Paducah, Ky area of which my mother owned. I just want a pup from her before she got to old..(Her name is Sac's Black Girlfriend, BG for short, my last name is Sacharnoski)...She is a very, well trained dog coming from someone who doesn't field trial...Smart...And commonly as lovable as any lab...I can't promise a world champion to anyone...I can promise you that if you take care of the pup you want and take it hunting you'll never have to swim or paddle for a bird...Well maybe in the earlier days of hunting with the pup, you might make a few trips out with the boat...And when you go to pick up your hunting jacket or gun you will have someone to go hunting with no matter how harsh the weather....
The pups are not going to be sold on the basis that I am asking for money per pup...If you want a pup just pay for the first shots and give what ever donation you feel comfortable to this website...The guy that gave me BG used to run a kennel near Paris, TN ( please do not ask me the name because I do not remember the kennel) and was getting older and wanted out of the business...He used to make runs from Paris, TN with some injection molding company to the Remington Arms Facility I worked in to bring certain parts in-house...He gave me BG at 3 months old because at the time I couldn't afford the $500 fee for a dog and but he knew I wanted one...Well the same goes for this litter...I don't want a dime...Just someone to take the pups and to pass on the joy of hunting over a dog...
As of today she has not given birth...I do not know how many she will have? Kind of a first come first serve basis....She was well built dog before the pregancy with a thick, shiny coat...Her average weight is around 78 to 82 pounds...The sire was a 1.5 year pup of a dog my mother had whom passed away several years ago, named Shadow...I do have access to papers on him...Before Shadow passed he weighed around 90 lbs with a big block head similiar to what you would see on British bred labs....
I live right in the heart of Fort Wayne, IN a few miles of exit 112A of I69...I do not mind traveling to meet within a few hours of Fort Wayne if necessary...I will post pictures when the pups arrive...
