We'll wait for Saturday to grill the fresh tuna and hopefully we will catch a salmon on Saturday morning to throw on the barbi. My friend caught a salmon this morning and saved a chunk for us, just in case it doesn't go as hoped out in the boat.

So what do you have planned?

I'm thinking of throwing a butt or ribs on the smoker.
And relaxing all day long.

Im going squirrel blastin in the morning then scouting for geese in the afternoon. No plans for food yet.

Well, for me and my buddies it will be a meal fit for an elk hunter in elk camp at 9000 ft. sitting around a campfire. Since the season starts on Saturday it could be a celebration dinner.

For me and some buddies its opening day of early goose season the dog is ready and hope the birds stay on there pattern this week got em going good into a late planted bean field that had wheat in it before

Sept. 2, Labor Day, I'll be celebrating my 88th birthday and for you WW II guys, Sept 2, 1945, the Japs surrendered to the Chinese in Mengtse, China. Just thought I'd throw that in, not only was that my 20th birthday to celebrate but for we China Hands, the war was finally over and we soon would be going home.

wis boz,
Happy birthday and thank you for sharing that real connection to important history.

Happy Labor Day everyone. I'm going dove hunting, maybe even a little fishing if it cools down a bit.

Tim

Hopefully after Work I'll be able to knock down a few doves for my Lab to retrieve. Nothing kicks off hunting season like some dove breasts, with onion and Jalapeno wrapped in bacon on the grill!

Actually work is my summer job and consists of scanning tickets at the Phillies AAA baseball stadium. Working at a ball park isn't a bad way to spend Labor Day I guess.

I will be Dove Hunting with friends, and a cookout after the hunt.
Wiz, thanks for your service we can all enjoy this time. Good luck and everyone travel safe.

Happy Birthday!
You don't look a day over 80!

Thanks for your service! We haven't forgotten what your generation did and I never will.

WooHoo...Saturday is final prepping then Sunday & Monday.... morning setting up for geese and noon to 5:00pm on the line for Doves.

Happy 88th Birthday Boz

Everyone have a good, safe weekend.

Mr. Bosanny (wis boz) - A very happy 88th birthday to you sir, and I also sincerely thank you for your service to our country.
