Lacrosse get together

Pete --That sounds good. Go ahead and bring the salad mix. We've got plenty of dressings here.

Tom --Could you bring some sweet corn?

Ed's bringing some beer.

That should just about do it. Unless somebody knows a source for homemade rhubarb pie.

Noon Saturday at the park. I don't know if anyone is planning to come on Friday.

Rick

Rick,

Steak and beer.....Good Eats to me!! BUT...corn in a kettler sounds good also. LOL

Which camp ground is closer to you or to Brice Prairie, Goose Island or Veterans Memorial? It seems I drove a long distance to get to the festivities Last year.

Vickie and I are coming in Friday so I can stop at Cabelas on the way up for my yearly restocking.

Has anyone else made reservations and where? If we're in the same camp grounds I'd be happy to buy you a beer....Man I'm starting to sound like a lush!

Just to let the guys know my plans,

I have to be back home by noon Sunday. I could not see making a run to Lacrosse (more correctly the river) with out including some fishing. Sooooooooooo I took Thursday afternoon and Friday off from work. I'll have a fishing boat with me and will be staying in Lansing Ia on Thursday and Friday nite. That is about an hour+15 minutes from the gathering. I 'll have an open seat in the boat for Friday if anyone is interested in joining me.

I was going home Saturday but Rick made too fine of an offer so, I'll join the crew for steaks Saturday evening and drive home Sunday morning.

Rick, easiest item for me to bring would be some deer summer sausage to snack on. I'll have it along in a cooler in the truck and we can start on it in the afternoon or save it for later. I'll pick up some cheese and crackers to go along with the sausage.

I'll be off line after Wed, evening so if you want to talk to me about hooking up for fishing, do so before then.

WisBoz, Sorry to hear about your family situation. We'll have to meet some other time.

Is anyone interested in Strawberrys. Its picking time up here. I don't know how well they will go with beer, but you can try. Lee they go well with cheese. hee hee

Count me in, I don't know how long I am staying, but I will bring a rhubarb pie or two.

Will be nice to put a face with the posts.

Andrew

You guys are killin me here. We live 3 miles across the river from the park and I don't know if I'll get there. Family has been collecting for the last couple of days with more coming and the last ones will leave on Tues. Several of us were supposed to go fishing this morning (early?) and @10:00 we're still sittin here. Chaos to the max, but we're havin fun. There'll be eleven of us in a 2400 sq. ft. house. Startin to sound ethnic doesn't it, Thank God for airconditioning,eh. Guess we'll just roll with things. We'll see ya if we see ya.

George

Gee weez George, I was hoping to get that tie of yours in the bag swap!

Just bring the clan for show and tell. Hope to see you there.

Ed L.

Gees, Ya wear a tie ONE TIME and ya get grief for years. ;^) Did Dave say how big the bag could be, maybe I can crop this down a bit. You know, farm some out to somebody else for a while.
George

Ed, I am going to try to stay at the Veterans Campground, sounds like it is the closest one. See you there sometime Fri. I think you might still have my cell #?, if not I'll PM you.

As I start to look at the stuff I was going to bring I realized the truck is too small and I was making this too much work. If anyone is interested I will list some larger items I have for sale and I will pack them for you to look at. If not thats OK too.
1. a 3.5 hp. Merc $200.00
2. 8 hp. Mariner built by Yamaha, new rings and water pump like new condition. (My wife doesn't want me to sell this one) $400.00
3. My 12 ft Canyak that would go to a good home for $200.00
4. A MEC Steelmaster reloader $125.00

I will bring a couple doz. sweet corn. Looking forward to it !!

Tom,

Sounds like a plan. Here's a picture of my van. I PM'd you my cell phone number. Hopefully the campground won't be full.

See you there.

Sorry I can’t make it, once again I have to work.

If I could we would have brought the African Queen and Miss Tobi from Viroqua to have a little fun. Faith even got a five pound block of Amish cheese we could have. Damn. Maybe next year.

Seventeen months and counting to retirement.

Have a great time gents (and ladies). I will be thinking of you.

Regards,

Jim

James, I know your a proud papa but thats the ugliest kid I ever seen, and your only seventeen months away from retirement. I can tell by his eyes he intelligent. You will paying for his college education when your eighty. hee hee

Sorry you won't be there. Maybe next year, God willin and the creeks don't rise.

Rick,

I've lost your cell number. Could you send me a PM with your cell?

It's been awhile since Andy D. , Joe Lane and Mark W. have posted. You guy's going to make it this year?

See you Saturday,

Ed L.

I'm looking forward to it, unless something major comes up I'll be there.
I'll be bringing my boat, cracked hull and all. Hopefully, some of you guys can look it over in person and we can discuss repair options.

Joe Lane

I am going to try to be at Veteran's campground on Friday night. If you see a black Suburban pulling a BB3 - that'd be me.
